We are here for you
As soon as you know you are pregnant, you can register with us. You will then get an appointment for the first booking, the prenatal screening counseling and after that you will come for regular check-ups. We will follow your pregnancy progresses and how it goes with your baby and with you. In the beginning you will come every four weeks, towards the end of the pregnancy we will see you weekly. After 30 weeks we will discuss with you how we can best support you in giving birth. Whether you want to give birth in the UMCG, the Martini Hospital or at home: when the time comes, we will be there for you. After your baby is born we will see you several more times to monitor your recovery, the health of your baby and your start as a family. After about six weeks, we will discharge you from our care.
